Sieger White Award!!

Great news!
I am awarded with this year’s Sieger White Award from the Prince Bernhard Culturefund!

A few months ago the news came suddenly out of the blue. For a while I had to silently enjoy it, but now it’s official and true!

This scholarship is presented for talented artists under the age of 35 from the Eastern region of the Netherlands and consists of a sum of € 25,000 meant for a publication and a solo exhibition at a prominent gallery in the Netherlands.

Sieger-White Award
The Sieger White Award is named after the artist couple Fred Sieger (1902-1999) and Helen Sieger-White (1911-2010). The scholarship is awarded every two years and supports artists in the field of painting in the broadest sense of the word. The rewarded artist from the Eastern Netherlands region should have a modest oeuvre. The grant is intended as additional support for more publicity for his or her work. Previous winners are Omar Koubâa and Kim van Norren.
